Due to growth and expansion this unique opportunity is required to identify, nurture, and lead the holistic wellbeing programs impacting its students and employees.
Reporting to the COO and leading 1 other team member you will be empowered to research, build and deliver a comprehensive framework that drives ‘best practice engagement’ across all touch points of a student experience, including accommodation services, health and injury management, life skills support and proactive risk mitigation and prevention.
The role requires strategic thinking, empathy and leadership but the person needs to ‘hold and own’ this space, so you must be able to be ‘hands on’ as required.
Your ability to priotise the BAU with the strategic planning will be critical, as will your ability to project management, delegate and influence at the Board and executive level.
You will also be accountable for development and management of a budget, so commercial acumen and fiscal awareness is also important.
To be considered you will require previous experience in developing successful student support/ wellbeing programs, and hold a Degree in Welfare, Social Work or Psychology (highly desirable).
Knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and significant experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities is
essential.
