Privacy is acknowledged as a fundamental human right. 

In Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 deals with your information privacy rights and how organisations and agencies must handle your personal information

Soda Talent Solutions is committed to the Privacy Act 1988. 

Soda Talent Solutions collects, holds and discloses personal information to undertake our functions and activities under the Australian Information Commissioner Act 2010 (Cth) (AIC Act), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act), 

We will ensure we protect your information and not pass your details to third parties without your consent

The Privacy Act 1988 has strict rules about how an organisation or agency handles your personal information. 

The privacy laws regulate how personal information is stored, obtained, and used as well as how and when the information is disposed of.

The below outlines the definitions and privacy practices of Soda Talent Solutions in relation to how it requests, uses and stores personal and company information.

  • Personal Information, Collection & Disclosure

Defined as information specific to an individual whereby their identity could be attained from this information.  Soda Talent Solutions uses this data to provide a service to both the candidate and our clients.  You information will not be used for any purpose or passed to any other third party without your consent.

  • Consent

By working with Soda Talent Solutions and registering your personal details you are giving your consent.  We will treat your personal information as strictly confidential and always act ethically and responsibly at all times in the treatment and storage of your personal information. 

  • Storage of Data

Soda Talent Solution retains a candidate personal data to provide services to the candidate and on behalf of our clients they are represented to.  This will always be treated as sensitive and always stored responsibly and confidentially. At any time upon request by the individual the storage of this information will be removed, and the personal information destroyed.

  • Access of Personal data

An individual (or their approved representative) can access any information we hold pertaining to them at any time, and we will accommodate within the current legislation to any reasonable request.  You can also request to change any information you believe to be incorrect.  Any request can be made via email, phone or in writing. 

  • Providing information of third parties (people and companies)

If you provide Soda Talent Solutions with information pertaining to third parties you must ensure you are complaint with the Privacy Act 1988 in relation to releasing and use of this data.

  • Grievances and Complaints. 

If you feel Soda Talent Solution is not handling your personal data with sensitivity, integrity and confidentially you can lodge a complaint with us directly. 

We take any request seriously and will investigate any query of grievance relating to your personal privacy
